D.A. Investigator Jacobsen knocks camera to the ground
Frank Carson was standing in the basement hallway of the Stanislaus County Courthouse on Friday morning, February 26, 2010. D.A. Investigator Jacobsen was standing across the hallway and down to the left about 20 feet away from Carson. Investigator Jacobsen is a prominent figure in a case Mr. Carson currently handles and he wanted a photo for his case file. He reached in his briefcase and took out a disposable camera he keeps for such opportunities and snapped D.A. Investigator Jacobsen’s photo. (Photo 1) The flash sent Jacobsen surging across the distance that separated him from Carson, and he struck Carson’s hand that held the camera, sending it flying down the hallway. A quick shot taken just before the assault took place captures the rage in D.A. Investigator Jacobsen’s face and demeanor. A Bail Bondsman was standing in the hallway also, put his body in front of Frank’s to prevent further assault by D.A. Investigator Jacobsen. Jacobsen was removed and disarmed by the courtroom bailiff.
