Unethical Donations to the Sheriff, the self proclaimed 1,000 lb. Gorilla.

Correct Care Solutions, the company recently named to take over Medical treatment at the Jail, the Farm, and the Safety Center has been caught donating to the Sheriff’s re-election campaign fund through its high ranking executivs from its facilities around the country.

I think many people will be shocked to learn the Sheriff is taking $6,800.00 dollars from a firm he and his department supervise.

Money has been rolling in from as far away as Fort Lauderdale Florida to help the Sheriff since his endorsement of their contract. We can’t forget Nashville, and Franklin Tennessee along with Topeka Kansas and Merrit Island Florida. All of these high ranking executives (executive V.P.’s and above) from Correct Care Solutions are chomping at the bit to thank the Sheriff for their new contract.

Hopefully VOM will be posting some of the Sheriff’s financial disclosure form FPPC.460 soon.

How much money is the County saving? How did Correct Care Soultions decide the $6,800.00 figure and will there be more?
