Is this basically a “vote of no confidence” in the Sheriff?
YEP… I’d say so.
About like the deputies losing confidence in the sheriff ! Oh, you already said that.
What did the sheriff expect anyway, here he spends tax payer money on toys and remodeling why the deputies go without supplies and equipment, not to mention he banned the yearly sheriffs department employmee survey.

Only a 3-4 vote difference?? Well I would say that is huge because he is the current sheriff and it should not even be that close if the patrol deputies were happy with the direction they are heading. So this speaks volumes!!! AND it looks like some deputies didnt even vote and I heard they were scared to vote because the Sheriff would find out. Sorry but employees should not be that scared to voice their opinion.. so that tells you and me how the current administration runs that department.

Mikeo…”some of the whiniest?” are you serious? Well when you are living in Modesto again and see what is happening, maybe we can list to your opinion. But you left and have no idea… we know you were a big AC fan and hoped that it would work out. But it did not…..
